Spring is finally here! With all the rain that is expected for this season, humidity is sure to wreak havoc on our hair but don’t fret. I’ve compiled a list of four tools that will have your tresses looking sleek all season long.
Tool #1:
This blow dryer is the best, reasonably priced dryer on the market which you can find at your local pharmacy. I’ve tried the T3 dryers in the past (which only last for a year) and the Infiniti Pro is just as good. It provides salon-quality results, dries hair quickly, and it won’t fry your hair. I highly recommend this product for those of you who want a professional blow dry at home.
Tool #2:
To get a nice blowout, try using a large, round boar bristle brush. Make sure to blow dry small sections at a time and to hold the hair taut. First, blow dry the roots by rotating the brush in your hands. Afterward, pull the brush through the rest of the hair and repeat until it’s dried completely. If you want to add a little flip to your hair at the end, pull the brush to the end of your hair and rotate the brush through the ends while keeping the blow dryer close to the hair.
Tool #3:
Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener
Before you start to blow dry your hair, apply a small amount of Aveda Glossing Straightener to each section. Not only does it condition your hair, it also protects it from heat damage. Plus, it gives your hair a light, clean herbal scent. It’s great for all hair types especially for curly/wavy hair. You can get it online or at your nearest Aveda salon.
Tool #4:
I’ve been using the CHI flat iron for many years and it’s the best flat iron you’ll ever use. The ceramic plates smooths hair with ease and gives your tresses a long-lasting sleek shine. No matter how bad the weather may be, your hair will still look fabulous. It’s kind of pricey ($100+) but it’s worth it.
