It’s starting to get cooler in the city which means it’s time to go shopping for cool outerwear. I like classic styles such as the military coat, figure-flattering parkas, and puffer jackets. I’m not a fan of anorak coats which seem a little old looking to me.
Quilted jackets are nice for the fall. If you’re a big spender, the Burberry quilted jackets are great. Ralph Lauren also has a few quilted jackets. If you’re not willing to spend your weekly salary on a new coat, there are many other designers/retailers that have similar jackets for less like H&M.

There are so many different colors and styles to choose from but remember to always have a classic everyday coat (like a puffer jacket) and a different coat for formal events (like a leather jacket or a trench coat).
